The Florida APEX Accelerator is a statewide government contracting acceleration and business support network that helps Florida‑based businesses uncover, navigate, and compete for government procurement opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels. It provides no‑cost consulting, training, research tools, and events to help companies understand the government marketplace, prepare bids, obtain necessary certifications, and win contracts.
Key Information
- No‑cost one‑on‑one consulting with specialized government contracting advisors to help businesses assess suitability, find opportunities, and develop winning proposals;
- Assistance with certification applications, including SDB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and others relevant to government procurement;
- Training & Events (in‑person and online) on government contracting basics, proposal preparation, cybersecurity compliance, and procurement strategies;
- Research tools and resources, including readiness checklists and procurement insights to help businesses prepare and compete effectively;
- Part of the national APEX Accelerators network, powered in Florida by the University of West Florida with funding from the State of Florida and the Department of Defense.
