Our session entitled “Business Coaching: Why and Why Not” helps entrepreneurs determine why and whether to pursue business coaching. We also spell out what you should expect from a business coach and the results you should experience.
Every Tuesday for ten weeks, we walk you through a course that includes real world expertise from renowned small business owners. Learn more →The Growth Alliance Task Force promotes the growth of minority-owned businesses through increased awareness of Chamber programs and provides entrepreneurial training and diversity business forums. Task force members serve on active sub-committees including Business Development, Outreach, Finance, and Sponsorships. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
Learn more →A Minority-owned and/or Women-owned Business Enterprise Certification Program to identify small minority-owned and/or women-owned businesses capable of providing goods and/or services to both government and private sectors.
Learn more →In order to invest in the growth of underrepresented founders in our community, the Portal Fund: RISE program will work to assist early-to-mid stage founders with access to programming, mentorship, and resources to allow them to grow their business to the next level.
Learn more →The TeamUP program consists of six months of hands-on workshops, as well as several one-on-one coaching sessions led by industry expert service providers. These experts have decades of experience helping organizations create positive work environments, retain top employees, implement more effective hiring practices and promote better management strategies.

Our 7(j) program provides specialized, high-quality assistance to Small businesses that are 8(a) certified, economically disadvantaged, located in areas of high unemployment/low income or HUBZONE, or owned by low- income individuals.
