Mountain BizWorks has launched a new inclusive entrepreneurship program to provide ongoing business and leadership skills-development for diverse entrepreneurs. Over the course of 12 months, you will meet regularly for two hours with a peer group of fellow business owners, all led by a facilitator. During this time, you will navigate through business challenges using the collective intelligence of others by contributing wisdom, encouragement and accountability towards your goals for the purpose of achieving better results in your business.

This Series is made up of three distinct classes that comprehensively cover the basic financial skills and tools that every entrepreneur needs to start and run a successful business. After finishing the series we encourage you to apply to work with one of our financial business coaches to build a secure financial infrastructure that can stand the test of time.

In 18 hours over 6 weekly sessions, participants will develop key foundational business knowledge, operations, financials, research and development, and marketing strategies. Leave the course with a business plan, a clear vision for your business, and concrete tasks for future work.

In 15 hours over 6 weekly sessions, the class will cover the basics of marketing strategy and tactics. It also includes multiple hands-on opportunities for you to brainstorm and write your very own marketing plan and develop the fundamentals of your brand such as website copy, social media messaging and aesthetic. You will walk away from this class with tangible tools you can use to market your business today and to, eventually, become an enduring and memorable brand!
